As we near the end of FIFA 22, fans are beginning to speculate about what EA Sports has in store for us with FIFA 23. After the publisher promised to make the best FIFA game yet, there are high hopes for the next installment in the series.

FIFA 23 will introduce several leagues which have not been featured in the series before, most notably women's football. International squads were added in FIFA 16, but there has been no expansion of the women's game in any game since.
It appears that EA is planning to add domestic women's leagues as a playable game mode in FIFA 23. If this happens, it would be the first time that women's leagues are playable in the FIFA series.

As we approach FIFA 23, more and more leakers are revealing which clubs will appear in the game. On June 3, Donk Trading tweeted that a very large Italian team would be returning.
In the meantime, as World Cup content comes to FIFA 23, there is a belief at FUT22News that a number of international sides will be making a return. In actuality, it is expected that every team that qualified for the finals in Qatar will be present.
