It is with great pleasure that we present our latest rating predictions of the best players in the Premier League. After analysing all 38 matches played this season, as well as taking into account player form and recent performances, we have come up with our top 10 list.

FIFA 23: Premier League Top 10 Player Ratings Predictions

The list of the top 10 players rating predictions in the Premier League is as follows:

10. Trent Alexander-Arnold (87 -> 88)

It is difficult to believe that Trent Alexander-Arnold, only 23 years old, already boasts such a wealth of accomplishments. He has multiple trophies and accolades to his name; he has never let goals or clean sheets slip; last season he was an integral part in providing two goals and nineteen assists from the right back position for Liverpool Football Club.

We believe that the player who is most dangerous attacking-defender in all of world football at present, and we think EA will rightly reward him with an upgrade to take him up to an 88 overall rating.

9. Erling Haaland (88 -> 89)

Haaland has already scored a very impressive 40 goals in 2022, including 22 league goals this season for Borussia Dortmund.

8. Cristiano Ronaldo (91 -> 89)

The fact that Ronaldo scored only 24 goals in all competitions last season despite still putting up great numbers shows just how much the team struggled. He has continued to prove his age is nothing more than a number, as he can score 20+ goals each and every season.

7. Virgil Van Dijk: 89 -> 90

It is to be expected that a player’s rating would decline after missing an extended period of time, as this can lead to inconsistency. However, the fact that Van Dijk was only downgraded by one point speaks volumes about his ability; he has shown throughout his career that he is among the best in the world at retaining clean sheets.

It is possible that the player will receive a +2 upgrade, but it was due to the assistance of fellow Liverpool stalwarts Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate. So it is likely that he will be in the 90 club again.

6. Harry Kane (90 -> 90)

Harry Kane registered 27 goals for Tottenham Hotspur in the 21/22 season; however, his contributions were not limited to Europa League play. He finished strong and helped secure Champions League qualification for Spurs.

It is interesting to note that on his day, Kane behaves in a similarly clinical manner. He has worked assists into his game now and it would not be surprising to see him maintain an impressive 90 rating when FIFA 23 releases.

5. Mohamed Salah (89 -> 90)

It is difficult to say anything definitive about Salah’s rating drop in FIFA 22, as it is still unclear what factors led to the downgrade. However, his excellent season with Liverpool – where he scored 31 goals and registered 16 assists – makes him a hard player to ignore.

4. Alisson Becker (89 -> 90)

The 20 clean sheets that Alisson managed for Liverpool in the Premier League season was an amazing feat.

His excellent positioning and goalkeeping acumen means he generally doesn’t need to make any spectacular saves, which is why his record of only conceding 26 goals during 38 games stands out so much.

3. Ederson (89 -> 90)

It is possible to summarize the situation as follows: Alisson and Ederson are both performing at a very high level, and it will be difficult to determine who will eventually become world number one.

Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester City are expected to continue their rivalry in the coming season, with Ederson likely competing for a starting spot in the team.

2. Heung-Min Son (89 -> 90)

Son’s second half of the season was incredible as he seemed to flourish under Antonio Conte, finishing as joint Premier League Golden Boot winner. Along with a few assists, Son has seemingly forced his way into the spotlight and seems tired of being underrated.

1. Kevin De Bruyne: 90 -> 91

For two years running, Manchester City’s midfield maestro has been named the Premier League’s best player. His goals, assists, and all-around play helped his team snatch the title away from Liverpool in a dramatic final day comeback against Aston Villa.

Notwithstanding City's lack of success in other competitions, De Bruyne's individual season was marked by a number of Man of the Match performances. These include his four-goal haul against Wolves on May 11, 2022.
